Andrew Goodman/Getty Images for Celebrity Fight Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney George Clooney and his bride Amal Alamuddin are afloat in like in Venice, where they’ll wed this Saturday — with an all-star celebration reportedly plotted in the opulent and romantic Aman Canal Grande.
The seven-star hotel, built in 1550, is awash in Renaissance glamor. It retains its original ceiling frescoes, ornate art and oak parquet floors.
Part of Palazzo Papadopoli, the hotel’s 24 rooms are fully booked this weekend — just like the Belmond Cipriani. That five-star hotel has long been a Clooney favorite and could have a role in his fairy tale wedding to Alamuddin.
