George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin sport rings morning after wedding
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin stepped out for the first time as husband and wife Sunday as they continued celebrating their lavish weekend wedding.
The radiant couple sported wedding bands glimmering in the Venetian sun as they emerged from the luxurious five-star Hotel Cipriani.
Clooney, 53, sported a spiffy light gray suit, blue tie and shades. Alamuddin, 36, wowed onlookers with a classy white dress with pastel flower blossoms.
Both smiled ear to ear.
The glamorous newlyweds hopped into an awaiting water taxi. Clooney wrapped his arm around his wife as the stylish boat cruised down the Grand Canal to another high-priced hotel where many wedding guests were staying.
Gondoliers steered clear and tourists cheered as the new couple passed.
The couple plotted to have a 2 p.m. feast with friends and family followed by an 8 p.m. dinner.
Numerous celebrities were in town for the nuptials, including Bill Murray, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin, Anna Wintour, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Bono and Clooney’s cousin Miguel Ferrer.

The Oscar-winning actor particularly said he would never remarry after divorcing actress Talia Balsam in 1993.
Alamuddin, who was born in Lebanon and raised in the United Kingdom. She met her husband through her work as a human rights lawyer.
