With the London Collections: Men’s shows in full force across the pond, both British and global designers have been showcasing their latest menswear looks on the airstrip. But, at the Coach Spring/Summer 2016 show yesterday, that there were a few gorgeous ladies dominating the footbridge, along with the dapper gentlemen.
Rising models Binx Walton, Lexi Boling and Julia Bergshoeff made a splash at the show. The fearsome threesome strutted the airstrip in Coach designs, as they fully embraced a borrowed from the boys aesthetic with style.
Walton wore knee-length black shorts with vintage inspired sneakers, a colourful abstract print T-shirt and a baggy military style jacket with black panel detail.
Meanwhile, dark and edgy Boling looked like the ultimate tomboy in a similar ensemble, but with a printed jacket and quirky fuzzy slippers.
Keeping up with the trend, Bergshoeff made a statement in a leather jacket with striking red panels and a yellow, red and blue outfit. Although we’re not too sure about the patterned fuzzy slippers on the footbridge, she somehow made them work with the eccentric, eye-catching look.
Either way, the gender diversity on the footbridge is a refreshing touch. Who says that tomboy chic fashion is a sartorial challenge- just look at the way these three ladies are stealing the focus at the debut Coach menswear airstrip show!
