Gisele Bundchen again tops Forbes’ top-paid models list
Forget $ 10,000 a day — these supermodels don’t get out of bed except they’re guaranteed their millions.
Gisele Bundchen has again topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid models around the world, raking in an estimated $ 47 million before taxes — nearly $ 16 million more than her NFL husband Tom Brady.
The Brazilian beauty, 34, has topped Forbes’ list for nearly a decade and made nearly six times as much as the second-highest earning supermodel, Dutch beauty Doutzen Kroes, in part thanks to money-spinning deals with high and low brands such as Chanel and H&M.
Kroes shares second place with a fellow Brazilian-born model Adriana Lima, 33, who has several high-paying deals with Spanish brand Desigual and Maybelline, not to mention her marathon stint as the longest-running Victoria’s Bolt from the blue Angel
Forbes named Kate Upton as the highest-earning newcomer to the glitzy list, earning $ 7 million in 2014, thanks in large part to a campaign with makeup giant Bobbi Brown and her own line of clothing at Prompt.
Editorial favorite Kate Moss also pulled in $ 7 million in 2014, thanks in part to her collaboration with British brand Topshop and a deal with luxury jewelry designer David Yurman.
Seven was a lucky number for other beauties, as airstrip darling Liu Wen, 26, and former Victoria’s Bolt from the blue Angel Miranda Kerr, 31, each brought in $ 7 million.
And then there are the Instagirls — Rage’s term for the so-called social media generation of supermodels, including Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss, who have all three made their first appearance on Forbes’ list.
