As the creative director of French fashion household Givenchy, 40-year-ancient designer Riccardo Tisci chose the bustling streets of London, England as the location for his new Resort 2016 campaign. Although a pristine airstrip may seem like the perfect setting for the new range of vacation ready styles, Tisci took to the streets for his latest sartorial statement.

It seems like the term “road style” has been redefined this season, with Gucci also bringing its recent Resort 2016 collection to the sidewalk of West 22nd Road in New York City. At Givenchy, models Candice Swanepoel, Greta Varlese and Vanessa Temperamental made a splash on the London streets. With the city’s signature red double decker buses in plain sight in some of the shots, the setting was validly British.

As for the collection itself, looks featured neutral, military inspired shades of light brown and olive green. With draped fabrics, tulips hemlines and flowing fabrics on the footbridge (or streets, rather!), the latest lineup was a mix of comfort and chic. Pops of snowy white made a splash on everything from a luxurious loose pantsuit to a maxi dress , with well-tailored jackets, the occasional bold animal print and peplum cuts on show as well.

Here’s a closer look at some of the key looks from the Givenchy Resort 2016 collection.
