Joan Rivers hospitalized after she stops breathing during operation

Tart-tongued comedian Joan Rivers was rushed to a Manhattan hospital Thursday after she stopped breathing during an operation, TMZ.com reported.
The Brooklyn-born Rivers was reportedly undergoing surgery on her vocal cords at a clinic when the problem occurred and she was quickly rushed to Mount Sinai Medical Focal point, the website reported.
There was no immediate word on the shape up of the 81-year-ancient Rivers, who lives in Manhattan.
