Kardashians mum on Bruce Jenner’s changes, even with friends

They’ve covered just about everything on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” But when it comes to Kardashian-Jenner patriarch Bruce Jenner’s “transition,” family members are left over uncharacteristically tight-lipped even with their closest friends, while slowly leaking tales to ease his exchange, multiple sources tell Confidenti@l.

We hear that accurate family friends say it’s “devastating” and “shocking” that, with rumors swirling, the family won’t take up the subject with those further than the clan. Accurate friends of both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian say it’s the elephant in the room during intimate gatherings, even as it’s become mainstream news.

“Basically if your last name isn’t Kardashian or Jenner, you have no thought what’s going on,” says one source. “These are people who are Kris’ confidants. They talk to Kris, but it doesn’t come up and they don’t question.”

The source adds that friends feel so awkward, the family should “address what’s going on, one way or another” with pals to ease the awkwardness.

Kim came closest to addressing the tales last week while doing press for her T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial, confirming that her stepdad was on a “journey” of some sort, implying that he would reveal his news on his own terms.

“I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that report and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right. I feel like that’s his journey to talk about,” Kim said on “ET.”

But Kim’s closest pals say it’s simply not discussed, in any way, when they hang out.

“I would never question that,” says one family friend. “It’s the thing you don’t question about, you don’t talk about it. You just pretend it doesn’t exist. She ignores the magazine covers (meaning In Touch’s Photoshopped cover of Jenner dressed as a woman) and discussion about her life. Everything but that.”

TMZ recently reported that Jenner has been shooting a docu-series about his “life changes,” to air in a few months.

The reality star and Olympic champ has been sporting manicured nails and longer locks and had his Adam’s apple shaved down. He has yet to publicly authenticate he’s transitioning into a woman.
