Kelly Clarkson responds to online bullying about her weight

Kelly Clarkson has no time for haters.

With her announced new tour dates, her album’s debut in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, and a young child, the singer isn’t letting the bullies get to her.

Clarkson has recently received some cruel evaluation from Katie Hopkins, a controversial British television personality, regarding her weight.

“Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all her backing singers? Happily I have a wide-screen,” Hopkins commented on Twitter after considering her on “The Gram Norton Show” earlier this year.

The stout-shaming hasn’t stopped, and she took to social media again to share her opinions of the “American Idol” winner.

“Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves,” she tweeted.

Regardless of the harsh statement, when Clarkson was questioned by Heat Magazine how she felt about the comments, she responded perfectly.

“She’s tweeted something nasty about me? That’s because she doesn’t know me. I’m awesome!” Clarkson clarified. “It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people reckon. It’s more if I’m pleased and I’m confident and feeling excellent, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”
