Kelly Osbourne does a triple take at Logo awards

The night before the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling in act of kindness of same-sex marriage, the producers of Logo’s “Trailblazer Honors 2015” had Kelly Osbourne tape three different versions of an award presentation in a slick bid to keep the broadcast timely.

The show, which celebrates pioneers at the front position of the march to LGBT equality, aired Saturday night on Logo — but the TV audience only saw one of the takes.

“They stopped and started the show three different times so the audience could answer to whatever the Supreme Court outcome was, passing gay marriage or not passing it. There was a cheer reaction, then disappointment,” says our source.

Some of New York’s most powerful LGBT members and friends of the gay community hit the Cathedral of St. John the Divine for the largest televised Pride event, but there was an evident air of uncertainty about how the court would rule.

Osbourne, who open an award at the event along with this season’s winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Violet Chachki, informed the crowd of VIPs that they would have to do three takes so that “all the bases” on gay marriage were covered. “The first take, Kelly and Violet said, ‘No choice has been made yet.’ The second Kelly, doing her best acting sad face, told the crowd that the court had ‘ruled against marriage for all,’ as the crowed booed,” says our source.

“After laughing and composing herself, Kelly informed the 100 or so people at the dinner that the Supreme Court had decided to support gay marriage. Everyone went nuts, and that take will be the one edited into the show.”

The show also featured Raven-Symoné, Martin Luther King III, Jason Collins and Betty DeGeneres (mom of Ellen), and an incredible number by Adam Lambert that had Arianna Grande’s brother Frankie jumping out of his chair.

Head Obama addressed the crowd in a video message, but the loudest applause was for Miley Cyrus, who opened the show with her own video:

“I’m honored to help start the have fun,” she said. “Tonight is a chance to celebrate, not just 10 years of Logo, but 10 years of extraordinary progress for our country. … Today, ‘Don’t question, don’t tell’ is history … and all you have to do is look at this month’s cover of Vanity Honest to see how America is more accepting of people for who they truly are.”
