Keri Hilson (l.) tweeted her support for Rachel Dolezal (r.), the NAACP chapter head who was apparently born white, but has identified herself for years as an African American woman.

Pop singer Keri Hilson has continued to sing a much different tune about Spokane NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal from most commentators on social media.

The “Pretty Girl Rock” crooner’s tweets Friday in support of the 37-year-ancient civil rights activist, who apparently masqueraded as an African American woman in anticipation of her white parents outed her last week, immediately drew bounty of backlash.

EXCLUSIVE: DOLEZAL’S SUPPORT OF VICTIM WHO ACCUSED BROTHER MAY HAVE TRIGGERED PARENTS’ OUTING

“Let’s just all thank #RachelDolezal. Identity, pathological, & parental issues aside, she’s doing more than most of us do for ourselves,” Hilson tweeted Friday.

A lot of Hilson’s followers disagreed, to put it mildly:

Hilson later clarified her views on Dolezal’s racial ruse in a series of tweets over the weekend:
