Life is a longer ‘Cabaret’ for Emma Stone in Broadway show

Emma Stone is crazy, stupid in like with her role in “Cabaret.” The “Birdman” actress has extended her run as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” with the Roundabout Theatre Company announcing Monday that she will extend her run in the role. Stone will continue through February 15 — two weeks longer than her original covenant. She took over the part from Michelle Williams on Nov. 11 at the Studio 54 theater.

Meanwhile, Stone has been gushing about playing Bowles, a role she said she first saw performed by Natasha Richardson in 1998, when Stone was only 9 years ancient. When she first took the gig, Stone confessed she was “frightened sh—less” about the challenge ahead. But so far, so excellent. She has certainly put stars in the seats since joining “Cabaret.” Andrew Garfield, Bradley Cooper, Keanu Reeves Cobie Smulders, Parker Posey, Naomi Watts and Taylor Swift have all popped in to see her perform.

“There’s beyond doubt been a surge of people coming to see her,” a production insider told us a month ago as Stone was becoming a big draw and Jennifer Lawrence was seen hanging out in her dressing room after a performance. News critic Joe Dziemianowicz gave the show five out of five stars after Stone replaced Williams as Alan Cumming’s co-star, calling new revamped show “solid as a rock.”

DIAZ ON HER MARRY WAY

Never say never! Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, who’ve been engaged for a matter of weeks, were set to marry Monday night at Diaz’s Beverly Hills manse. Two helicopters were seen Monday circling the gated community of Diaz, who has sworn off marriage so many times it’s become her mantra, while massive tents were being erected in her backyard. Later, flowers, tables and chairs were being carried in. Diaz has also said she’s OK without children. Mmm-hmmm.

PERRY, MAYER HEAD FOR THE HILLS

These two just can’t keep apart. “Part of Me” singer Katy Perry and “Half of My Heart” singer John Mayer broke in the new year by hanging out with friends in Beverly Hills this weekend. We’re told the off-and-on couple, reportedly “off” since early 2014, arrived separately but parked next to one another. It’s possible Mayer was hitting Perry up for Super Bowl tickets. She’ll be performing at the big game in Arizona on Feb. 1.

PIKE’S SCENE WAS BLOODY LONG

Rosamund Pike tells Vanity Honest that filming “Gone Girl” was her most grueling experience ever on a set. Director David Fincher shot the scene in which Pike slits Neil Patrick Harris’ throat 36 times, with the set having to be remade for each take. Pike and Harris choreographed it for a week, then filmed it with 36 sheets, 450 gallons of blood and 36 pairs of underwear on hand. The February issue of the monthy is available in New York and L.A. on Thursday.

ROCK EYES ‘TOP’ BOOKING

Comic genius Chris Rock will be honored if his new film, “Top Five,” gets him an Oscar nod. But either way, he has plans with his mom for the night of this year’s Academy Awards ceremony in L.A. “Feb. 22 is my mother’s birthday — 70th birthday,” he said at the Variety Creative Impact Awards in Palm Springs. “If I’m nominated, I will take her to the Oscars. If not, I will take her to Fatburger.”

LYING DOWN ON THE JOB

Victoria’s Bolt from the blue beauty Candice Swanepoel was off duty for this shoot, but it may as well be in a catalog. The blond model relaxed on a pillow resembling a pretty donut while clad in knitted crop top and fleeting shorts. “Pleased 2015 folks. Shape and happiness to all,” she posted on Instagram.

TURBULENCE AT LAX

Halle Berry’s other half, Olivier Martinez, showed his temper at LAX when he allegedly shoved an airport employee with a kiddie car seat. The duo had kids Nahla, 6, and Maceo, 1, in tow when they arrived at the Global Terminal Sunday afternoon and a scuffle ensued. According to TMZ, the employee was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital. He has since filed a battery report against Martinez.

Kirstie Alley is back on Jenny Craig — and she’s looking excellent. The actress and “Dancing With the Stars” vet was hoping to lose 30 pounds on her latest diet, but finished up at an even better weight. CAMPY NUMBER BY GOULDING

Ellie Goulding started 2015 by sticking to her workout resolution. The singer attended Barry’s Bootcamp classes in Miami Beach led by head trainer and managing partner Derek DeGrazio. Goulding surprised guests with a specially curated playlist, then hopped on the mic to take over the last part of class. She told the class she does Barry-style workouts in her hotel room and has been secretly effective on getting a certification to be a Barry’s Bootcamp lecturer in London.

A NEW CHESTER FIELD

Standard Meatpacking District restaurant and bar the Chester is expanding. The chic eatery, on the ground level of the Gansevoort Hotel, often draws boldface names including Vince Vaughn, Halle Berry, Kendall Jenner, 50 Cent and Jamie Chung and fiancé Bryan Greenberg (who like the skirt steak with chorizo). It’s set to add a location at 45 E. 33rd St., off Park Ave., later this month. Paige Hospitality’s Chester Midtown will feature three levels, including a rooftop lounge.
