Lily Aldridge Is Stunning In Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2015 Campaign

Although 29-year-ancient Victoria’s Bolt from the blue model Lily Aldridge may be best known for swaggering down the airstrip in lingerie and VS Angel wings, the brunette beauty has been titled the face of Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2015 campaign.

For the Venezuelan-American designer’s latest campaign, Aldridge stuns in a pale blue silk wave strapless gown with ruffled detail and a jacquard cocktail dress with modest long sleeves and a water inspired print. The elegant silhouettes emphasize her statuesque figure and mile-long legs!

The campaign was shot by Peruvian-born fashion photographer Mario Testino, who is a longtime friend of Herrera’s. The ads, which are set to be released in September, feature Aldridge posing in photos that bring family portraits to mind.

The campaign focuses on South American and American fashion, with a theme of both family and fashion. “It’s a South American world coming to America bringing its culture, tradition, principles and sense of family and chic. It’s how South Americans like to be dressed and present themselves, but the ethos really belongs to Carolina Herrera herself,” Testino said to Women’s Wear Day after day.

WWD also reports that the new photo shoot was set in a neoclassical town household, which was decorated with both mid-century and contemporary artwork.

The newly released photos are part of the designer’s first wordwide campaign, which includes men’s and women’s clothing, garnishing, handbags and fragrance for the Carolina Herrera New York and CH Carolina Herrera marks.
