Lisa Lampanelli is a slimmer, release insult comic these days.

Lisa Lampanelli’s transformation isn’t just limited to her appearance. The Queen of Mean — who’s lost over 100 pounds and chopped off her hair and dyed it platinum — has a new outlook on life, too.

She’s stopped cursing in real life, questioned her perfectly nice husband for a divorce and is more pleased than she’s ever been, she tells Confidenti@l. But don’t worry, it hasn’t affected her edgy stage assumed role.

“I don’t yell offstage and curse off stage so much anymore. I’m more gentle. Five days a week I’m super-nice,” Lampanelli tells us. “There’s been so much stuff that has happened, divorce and weight and a lot of questions, but you know what? I’m still an insult comic through and through.”

Lampanelli tells us she amicably finished the relationship with Jimmy Cannizzaro because she was a “horrible wife” who was production with rage issues and a general sense of boredom in the marriage.

“I had huge rage issues. If I was any angrier I’d be dating Rihanna,” she joked. “I have weakness issues, I put up more walls than Pink Floyd. Let’s talk about how terrible I am in bed. I’m horrible. I’m really more of a Charlotte than a Samantha.”

The comedian covers all her insecurities on stage in a new special on EPIX, June 26 at 10 p.m., saying she decided to let the audience in on “who the real Lisa is.”

“When my dad died last May, he continued to the end with a sense of humor through the most dramatic and traumatic time, and I plotting I can be courageous … between my dad and the divorce … and I feel like the luckiest person. People are like ‘Are you still an insult comic?’ ”

The therapy she’s in and the yoga retreats that have helped her spiritually evolve are still fodder for her act, says Lampanelli, adding that she’s still “fearless and not unable to do her job.”

“I can do the emotional eating work and spirituality work, and then I can rag on yoga retreats,” she laughed.

After a talk at the 92nd Road Y this Sunday, Lampanelli plans to take some time off this summer, but soon can be heard guest-co-hosting the Howard Stern Wrap Up Show on Sirius. She’s also been invited to host a North Shore Animal League gala at the Pierre hotel on Nov. 20. She’ll bring her dog, Parker — named for Sarah Jessica Parker, because “of the resemblance,” she says.
