Whether you’ve been a fan of the dramatic plotlines or simply coveting the dramatic hemlines, one thing is clear- Mad Men has left fashionistas appetite retro style and inspired silhouettes! In honour of the final season, here’s a look back at the top fashion moments from Season 7 so far.

1) Joan Holloway’s white-collared black dress with a red and orange floral print in Episode 3, Field Trip: As curvaceous Joan Holloway, 39-year-ancient Christina Hendricks showcased her figure in this fitted black dress with a fiery print and a statement white Peter Pan collar. The striking mix of white, orange and red blooms on the frock complemented both her long gold string and fierce red locks.

Mad Men- The Monolith

2) Betty Draper’s sleek pale pink coat and round sunglasses from Episode 4, The Monolith: As the stunning yet conniving Betty Draper, 37-year-ancient blonde beauty January Jones made a feminine fashion statement in her peachy pink coat paired with a matching dress. The original springtime colour flattered her porcelain complexion. Betty’s dark round sunglasses and small hoop earrings completed the pastel-hued look (although we could have done without the cigarette as a finishing touch!)

Joan Holloway- Fuchsia

3) Joan’s stunning fuchsia blouse from Episode 4, The Monolith: We’ve always admired Joan’s sophisticated office style, and this vivid look from Episode 4 beyond doubt brought colour into her work wardrobe. The rich deep pink hue was a winning look for her honest complexion, while the delicate neckline with its sweet, oversized bow added detail.

Peggy- The Strategy

4) Peggy Olson’s pastel blue dress with matching buttons from Episode 6, The Strategy: As the copy chief at Sterling Cooper & Partners, Peggy Olson (played by Elisabeth Moss) has beyond doubt had a style upgrade from her early secretary days. While we may have once seen her in bland neutrals, frumpy skirts or loose knits, she made a splash in this gorgeous pastel blue number. With its fleeting sleeves, detail on the bust and tiny buttons, this structured dress was a mix of work and play.

5) Betty’s floral frock in Episode 7, Waterloo: Once again, trendsetting Betty was a vision in this cheerful sleeveless frock from Episode 7. The creamy white, violet and pale green print made for a gorgeous colour combination. With the high neckline and dainty strand of pearls, this ensemble brought ladylike style to a new level.

Bertram Cooper

6) Bertram Cooper’s Mad Men musical number from Episode 7, Waterloo: When the series last left us, we were treated to Don’s weird marvel sequence of company founder Bertram Cooper (Robert Morse) dancing with secretaries. We like the ladies’ punchy pastel frocks, playful hemlines, knee socks and dangling garnishing. From the strands of pearls to the pale blue and green scarf, this scene captures Mad Men style in a nutshell.
