Polish Striker, Robert Lewandowski will not be transferring to Borussia Dortmund’s arch rival’s Bayern Munich this summer after Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has said that the deal to Munich will not go through because they simply had not bid.

Watzke said: “Robert will beyond doubt not transfer to Bayern Munich in 2013. This is final. We have informed Robert and his advisers. The Bayern case is closed because there was no written offer.”

Though the real reason lies in Dortmund not wanting to sell their most prized asset after the disappearance Mario Goetze, who himself is going to Bayern, to their most fierce rivals.
So, he is most likely to leave Dortmund for Manchester United, his 2nd club of preference where his salary is said to be £90,000 a week— nearly £4.7m a year, more than double of the £40,000, he is currently earning at Indicate Iduna Park.

Dortmund are rumored to have set a selling fee of £25.5 million for him, which is more than the £18 million which the Die Borussen’s were ready to take last summer and much more than what the Red Devils can offer.

So, this transfer will all depend on the money made by selling Wayne Rooney, for which he is rumoured to have met two clubs.
