Marc By Marc Jacobs To Release Disney Collection

Although the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand is expected to fold into the designer’s more chic Marc Jacobs brand for a release line, the money off mark has announced a new collection with Disney.

According to Women’s Wear Day after day, the holiday collaboration with Disney is inspired by the upcoming Alice Through The Looking Glass film and is set to launch on November 1. The Disney film is expected to hit theatres in May 2016.

The line is titled “I Am Not Like Additional Girls”, and will include pieces like sunglasses, tote bags, backpacks and jewellery. Although it is heavily based on garnishing, WWD reports that it will also offer sweatshirts. All the items will be priced between $ 60 and $ 400. The designs are expected to be young and colourful with bows, pansy flowers and hearts making a statement.

With the brand set to be discontinued within the next six months, this final collection officially means happily ever after! As the last Marc by Marc Jacobs collection, could this girlish Disney themed line be a fairy tale ending? Only time will tell.
