At the 2015 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards on June 1, Maya Thurman-Hawke made an appearance as designer Zac Posen’s date. Since her grand entrance earlier this week, the young beauty is quickly becoming a well-known name.
Maya is the 16-year-ancient daughter of actor Ethan Hawke and actress Uma Thurman, and quickly made a splash when she arrived on the red carpet at the CFDA Awards. Wearing a gorgeous long floral print dress from Zac Posen’s Resort 2016 collection, the young beauty was an elegant sight.
Ever since her style statement at the CFDA Awards, Maya is being described as a possible new celebrity “It” girl in the world of fashion. In fact, Posen shared images of the modelesque teenager on his official Instagram account, which showcase the tall, slender girl posing in her pretty frock.
Looking at her gorgeous gown with its illusion neckline, delicate print and flared floor-length hem, it’s not hard to see why she would be considered an up-and-coming trendsetter.
Additional than her red carpet style and a airstrip worthy figure which brings her well-known mama to mind, Maya was also considered for the lead role of Ariel in the upcoming live action The Small Mermaid film.
