Mike Sonko’s Ailing Dad Passes On In Hospital

Senator Mike Sonko’s dad, Gideon Kioko Kivanguli, died last Sunday evening while in Intensive Care Unit at Nairobi Hospital. Mike Sonko broke the news on his Facebook page by saying,“Dear Kenyans and watu wangu nyote in general I thank each and everyone of you for your prayers during my Dad’s sickness. We all loved him but GOD loved him more than us. Mzee has just left us. Continue praying for our family and all those in similar situations.”

The senator did not tell the exact illness his dad had been suffering from. His father has been in and out of hospital a number of times this year but his shape up worsened last week and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
