There’s still one more day to go before it wraps, but New York Fashion Week has already produced so many strong trends for Spring 2015, we couldn’t wait to share. From hot new patterns to gotta-try footwear, here are the hottest looks trending at NYFW.
Gingham

Normcore meets Americana
The Normcore trend carries on its fall legacy, but with a much more retro Americana feel for spring 2015. Derek Lam and Coach both embraced the classic ’60s American vibe with plain denim jeans, pastel fur coats and boxy jackets.
Athleticwear
Sportswear made a comeback this summer, but for spring 2015 the trend takes a sexier turn. Alexander Wang’s H&M collection features track suits and boxing gloves and his spring 2015 NYFW collection re-worked the running shoe into his mini-dresses.

Crop Tops
If you’ve stocked up on crop tops from last season, express joy, as this is a foremost trend for spring 2015. Seen on NYFW runways from Donna Karan to Marc by Marc Jacobs, the crop top is considering a boxier cut along with varying degrees of midriff skin. Our favourite take is this ultra-feminine Oscar de la Renta lace crop top- perfect for any occasion.
Flats
If Victoria Beckham is ditching her high heels for them, flats must be hot. While the stiletto once ruled the runways, NYFW has seen a turn toward flats. Sneakers, loafers and sliders are key for 2015, so find your best look and stock up.
