Perrie Edwards remains tight-lipped after breakup

Perrie Edwards is left over tight-lipped after her split from former One Management star Zayn Malik.
The Small Mix singer chose not illustrate during an interview with E! after being questioned how she was doing following the high-profile breakup.
“I’m excellent, thank you,” she said succinctly, before bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock jumped in.
“We don’t really want to talk about it,” Pinnock said.

Meanwhile, Malik posted an uncaptioned photo of a lotus flower on Twitter Tuesday, which some have interpreted as a symbol for his situation following the breakup. Lotus flowers are known to grow in muddy waters, only to blossom into pure, gorgeous plants.
News broke Tuesday that Malik had finished his engagement to the 22-year-ancient singer. The British pop star, also 22, popped the question to Edwards in August 2013.
The couple persevered earlier this year after Malik was photographed with other women while on tour with One Management, but their relationship finished up lasting only four months longer, leaving Edwards heartbroken.
“She’s been putting on a courageous face as Small Mix have had promotion to do, but she’s obviously devastated,” a source told People magazine.
“Perrie’s being supported by her bandmates, but she’s really in pieces about this.”
