Apparently he is married to a girl by the name Fridah Muthoni. In a local campus blog Babu said this about her:

“I like my wife Fridah Muthoni. At times it’s worthless to fight for things you want in life but best to stay home with your lovely wife.whoever has a wife has a good thing and God will bless you.”
