Raven-Symoné strikes out with ‘Orange Is the New Black’ star

Raven-Symoné wasn’t able to use her TV clout — or sex appeal — to score a desk at Sushi Roxx’s grand opening in New York on a recent night out, a surprised spy tells Confidenti@l.

The revolving panelist on “The View” — who came out in 2013 on Twitter as bisexual — tried to finesse her way into the fully booked opening of the restaurant on E. 39th St. by cozying up to “Orange Is the New Black” star Samira Wiley (below r.), who plays Poussey Washington on the Netflix series.

“Samira was sitting at the bar not far from the entrance and Raven, who showed up with no reservation, saw her and tried to make friends with her group,” says our spy. “Raven had been talking to the hostess, who had no desk for her, so she tried to sit with Samira. Raven just couldn’t get a desk.”

Our amused spywitness says that Raven tried for some time to “befriend” Wiley, saying, “We should all sit together,” before Wiley shut her down, gesturing to the hostess to seat Raven and her group somewhere else.

“When the reservationist tried to go things around to seat them next to each additional, Samira shook her head and made a ‘no’ motion that was very clear to the hostess. Raven didn’t sit with her or get a desk,” says our source. “She left with her three friends without eating.”

If Raven was flirting with Wiley, it may be because her relationship with “America’s Next Top Model” star AzMarie Livingston — which she described as an “incredible, pleased relationship” to Oprah Winfrey last year — is over.

Wiley, who stars in all three seasons of the hit series and is also out, used to date Lauren Morelli, a writer on the show who came out as gay herself via an essay for Identities.Mic in May 2014.

Raven-Symoné has butted heads with Republican panelist Candace Cameron Bure in discussions on “The View.” Bure is in final negotiations with ABC to become a stable cast member on the chat show.

Third St. home this week — a converted firehouse — tells us that H&M clothing was shooting a commercial there. A big one. “It looked like a film set,” says our insider, who was assured the shoot was for a commercial for the fashion string. The clothier didn’t restore a request for note.

SI star Gerald McCullouch got a bolt from the blue at Thursday night’s Mets-Dodgers game when a fan questioned him for an autograph while he was sitting next to former Yankee Billy Sample.

“A fan recognized Gerald and wanted his autograph on a baseball,” says Keith Collins, star of “The Meat Puppet,” who was with the pair. McCullouch was like, ‘You want me to autograph the ball when I’m sitting next to a Yankee legend right here?’ ”

Sample, an eight-year veteran who played for both Yogi Berra and Billy Martin as a Yankee in 1985, then pulled out a stack of Yankees baseball cards and started signing them for fans.

“I’m not sure if this is politically right for me to do at a Mets game,” he confided.

We’re told Sample had signed 20 balls for fans before Mr. Met came over to see what was going on. “It felt like a red carpet, but behind home plate,” Collins told us.

Sample also makes an appearance with Collins in “The Meat Puppet,” which just wrapped its opening weekend.

PEREZ WAS FIGHT CUB

Brooklyn native Rosie Perez, who leaves “The View” on Aug. 6, tells us that growing up in Bushwick taught her to defend herself. “(I had) fights as a kid that I didn’t welcome, but I had to defend myself,” she told us at an AMC Loews Lincoln Square screening. “Those are things you have to do sometimes. It makes you tough. … I used to get my ass kicked!” she admits. “Then I learned how to fight and people stopped challenging me because I started winning.”

CRUISE ­CAMP DENIES ROMANCE
