Everybody grieves in their own way.
And in the case of Michelle Rodriguez, the actress says she mourned the tragic loss of her “Furious 7″ co-star Paul Walker by throwing herself into a several month spate of debauchery that made headlines in the gossip glossies.
“I really went on a bit of a splurge,” a teary Rodriguez told Entertainment Weekly. “I went crazy a little bit…I went pretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.”
Among the examples of her going “crazy a little bit” were her TMZ-worthy apparent tryst with British supermodel Cara Delevinge and a fling with actor Zac Efron in Spain.
Rodriguez and model Cara Delevingne delight in some quality time together at a Knicks game in Jan. 2014.
“I was pushing myself to feel,” Rodriguez told EW. “I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder.
“I was traveling and I was having sex. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling.”
What she was feeling was a huge void from the death of her friend and co-star during a break in the filming of “Furious 7″ over the Thanksgiving 2013 weekend, the 40-year-ancient was killed, along with his friend, Roger Rodas, after their 2005 Porsche Carrera GT crashed into a tree and exploded in flames.

The movie is expected to be a huge blockbluster, with early tracking predicting an April-record $ 115 million opening, according to Deadline.com.
Like Rodriguez, the rest of the cast of “Furious 7″ also have been struggling to heal. Vi n Diesel got visibly choked up during an L.A. screening of the film last week.
“This was a labor of like, it was in some ways toughest movie I’ve ever had to do, because the relationships that you see on film are so real,” Diesel told the crowd.
“When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother.”
