Samantha Harris prepares for double mastectomy

Samantha Harris has revealed she has breast cancer and will soon undergo treatment for it, reports People.

“If felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest,” the 40-year-ancient TV host said about hearing the diagnosis.

After finding a lump in her right breast during a self-examination last fall following a clean mammogram, she required out a specialist.

First she underwent a needle biopsy and then a lumpectomy that led to her breast cancer diagnosis.

Three specialists existing information on her treatment options, which was either a double mastectomy or another lumpectomy with radiation.

“I was sick of feeling the way that I did the days after the diagnosis,” the wife and mother-of-two little girls said of making the final choice to go through with the double mastectomy.
