Sarah Jessica Parker finally sells Greenwich Village home

Sarah Jessica Parker is in contract to sell a Greenwich Village townhouse that she used mainly for storage.

Serial real estate hunter Sarah Jessica Parker has finally found a buyer for her Greenwich Village townhouse, after several fee cuts and nearly three years on the market, Day after day News real estate editor Katherine Clarke has learned. The material goods, a spectacular Greek Revival townhouse at 20 E. 10th St., between Fifth Ave. and University Place, has gone into contract, last priced at $ 22 million. It first came on the market for $ 25 million in 2012.

The fashionista and her hubbie, Broadway star Matthew Broderick, paid $ 19 million for the 6,800-square-foot townhouse in 2011 and renovated it from top to bottom. But the family reportedly never lived there. Instead, Parker used the home as a giant closet for her designer shoes and the couple remained in another townhouse in the West Village. The E. 10th St. material goods has five bedrooms, 12-foot ceilings, a high-tech security system, a walnut eat-in kitchen, a private terrace and a south-facing, split-level backyard. Listing broker Fredrik Eklund, of “Million Dollar Listing New York” fame, didn’t respond to a request for note on the final contract fee.
