Savannah Guthrie FaceTimes with baby daily from ‘Today’ set

Sure, she’s camera-ready for millions at the crack of dawn, but “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie saves her best smile each morning for an audience of one.

“I’ll sit there on FaceTime during the 7:35 a.m. commercial break with my daughter,” says Guthrie, who gave birth to Vale, an adorable girl, back in August.

“They (Matt Lauer and Al Roker) will overhear me saying, ‘Who’s Mommy’s best girl?’ and smile,” Guthrie told Confidenti@l. “They’ll hear me going ‘goo-goo!’ ”

While Vale is simply the cutest little thing, the baby isn’t a technology savant — yet. Guthrie’s husband, political communications consultant Michael Feldman, handles the more technical aspects of the iPhone video chats. “He’s got a job with normal business hours,” Guthrie laughs. “So he’s there in the morning to set everything up.”

Guthrie might have wanted to hop on FaceTime for a few more moments than usual on Friday, when she anchored NBC News’ coverage of the Paris terrorist tiff for more than five hours before heading out to Los Angeles to cover the Golden Globes.

“It’s the longest I’ve ever been away from her,” Guthrie said of the two days she was separated from Vale.

50 CENT MAKES BIG NEWS

Confidenti@l guest editor 50 Cent assures us he’s out and about at the hottest Golden Globes parties, snapping selfies and collecting juicy dish. On Tuesday, Fitty will be at the Day after day News offices, where he’ll participate in a live chat at 1:30 p.m. and curate Wednesday’s Confidenti@l column. While in Los Angeles this weekend, the star ran into his pal Naomi Campbell and got photo-bombed by Leonardo DiCaprio. “I get photo-bombed by the hottest people in the world. You should try living without limits,” he said on Instagram.

BEY MIGHT BE BURYING THE LEAD

Is Beyoncé trying to tell us something? The pop queen posted the adorable Instagram snap above of herself covered in sand, with a protruding tummy. Is it a cryptic message that she’s preggers or just the handiwork of Blue Ivy, who just turned 3? Bey also posted a peek at Blue’s rainbow-hued birthday cake.

PUNCH AND CHAMPAGNE

After watching welterweight champ dirty Hernandez-Harrison protect his undefeated record against Tommy Rainone at Madison Square Backyard, Jay Z — who recently signed fighter Andre Ward to his Roc State group — stopped by his club 40/40 for a few nibbles. Joining the rapper were Fabolous, Rihanna and Angie Martinez; the group retired to a private room for a smorgasbord and some bubbly. Jay also questioned the waitress to get some cigars so he could delight in a postprandial puff.

FROM HOLLYWOOD TO HAITI

Sean Penn’s Help Haiti Home raised an impressive $ 6 million at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel. An A-list crowd watched the “Milk” actor introduce Bill Clinton, who was honored with a Medal of Commitment. One of the auction prizes was a journey to Haiti with the former Prez and Penn, but they agreed to offer the trip to three deep-pocketed bidders who each forked over a cool half-mil. Coldplay’s Chris Martin auctioned off a private performance in a bidder’s home.

WARMING THOUGHTS FROM FAMKE

Baby, it’s cold further than — but Famke Janssen knows how to keep warm. “Layers, it’s all about layers,” she told Confidenti@l. “And a little faux-fur piece — just stay away from any lighters or cigarette smoking, because it’s highly flammable, but other than that it does the trick.” And don’t expect to see the stylish ex-model trudging around in a distended coat. “It’s all about the style in New York, so I can’t do the distended thing,” she says.

‘IT GIRLS’ WHO LUNCH

W magazine’s Lynn Hirschberg hosted an estrogen-heavy pre-Golden Globes luncheon at A.O.C. The nosh-up, sponsored by Piaget and Dom Perignon, celebrated “It Girls” — cultural arbiters and ingénues. The glittering guest list included Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Kiernan Shipka, Allison Williams, Sarah Hyland, Jaime King and Brit Marling.

WANTED: MARTHA STEWART LIVING WAGE

The generous folks over at Martha Stewart’s company sent out an email to staffers, looking for temporary archivists to help catalogue “our vast historical database of merchandising products.” They’re offering $ 8.75 an hour — the new state minimum wage. As one insider sneered, “Who are you going to get for $ 8.75 an hour? Maybe high-school kids. They’re just so low-cost. From Martha all the way down. Everyone there despises it.”
