‘Saved by the Bell’s’ Dustin Diamond accused of bar stabbing
Ozaukee County Sheriff Dustin Diamond was arrested for weapons charges and reckless endangerment in Wisconsin.
The shine is off Dustin Diamond after the “Saved by the Bell” star was arrested early Friday morning on weapons charges in Wisconsin.
The 37-year-ancient actor, who shot to fame playing the goofball Screech on the hit ’90s high school sitcom, was busted for possession of a switchblade, first degree recklessly endangering safety and carrying a concealed stick, Milwaukee’s Fox6 News first reported.
Sources told the gossip site TMZ that the arrest stemmed from a bar fight.
Bail has been set at $ 1000 and Diamond was scheduled to appear in an Ozaukee County Court Friday afternoon.

In the years after his “Saved By the Bell” heyday, Diamond has become a punch-line for all the incorrect reasons — filing for bankruptcy in 2001 and releasing a sex-tape five years later.
His 2009 tell-all chronicle, “Behind the Bell,” also alienated his former cast-mates over its claims of off-screen hook-ups and drug use.
