While designer Raf Simons may have formerly plotted to show Dior’s Cruise 2016 collection in sunny Los Angeles, the fashion household is now set to showcase its latest line closer to its French roots. According to Women’s Wear Day after day, Dior will unveil its Cruise 2016 looks on May 11 at the Palais Bulles, just further than of Cannes, France. Also called the Bubble Palace in English, this futuristic, dome-shaped structure is the seaside home of 92-year-ancient French designer Pierre Cardin. The avant garde Palais Bulles was made by Hungarian inventor Antti Lovag.

On Dior’s official Instagram account, the designer mark has also revealed two fleeting videos of the blissful Côte d’Azur (or French Riviera). As the site of the latest Cruise 2016 collections, the Côte d’Azur borders the Mediterranean coastline. The videos don’t reveal as much of the venue as we’d like, but they do depict tranquil palm trees, striking blue skies and a peek of crystal clear waters.

With designer’s resort collections portraying vivid vacation looks, it makes sense that 47-year-ancient Belgian-born Simons would pick the French Riviera as the go-to venue for Dior’s new line. Here’s a sneak peek of the gorgeous scenery at the location:
