Selena Gomez looked-for a break.

The 21-year-ancient “Come & Get It” singer entered rehab at The Meadows recovery centre in Arizona in January for a two week stay, a rep for the star confirmed to the Day after day News.

“Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse,” her rep said in a statement.

Her stint came shortly after the brunette beauty announced her tour cancelation in December telling her fans that despite her choice, they are so vital to her and she would “never want to disappoint them.”

“It has become clear to me and those accurate to me that after many years of putting my work first,” she continued.

Radar Online was first to report the starlet’s stay in rehab and a source told the gossip site that before she left she was “partying very hard” and had been “experimenting with marijuana and prescription drugs, including Xanax and Ambien.”

“Her friends and family became increasingly worried that there might be a honest problem with Selena,” another source alleged to Radar.

“Particularly, her parents. The partying was, at times, wild. They wanted to help her, and they very much encouraged her to go to rehab. Others very accurate to her also urged her to seek professional help.”

Gomez was last blemished before checking herself into rehab  hanging out with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber in early January. The two were seen riding on Segways together around the “Baby” singer’s Calif. neighborhood followed by a cozy Instagram upload from the Biebs.

“Like the way you look at me,” he captioned the Jan. 4 shot that went on to flash rumors that the young Hollywood pair may be back together.

Shortly after costs time with her ex, Gomez’s social media came to a halt and did not pick up again in anticipation of Jan. 20.

Three days later on Jan. 23, Bieber was pulled over in Miami Beach in a yellow rented Lamborghini and exciting for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.

Later that night Gomez was photographed having dinner with longtime pal, Demi Lovato, who spent three months in rehab herself in 2010 for drug and alcohol addiction.

An insider told the Day after day News that Gomez “has been effective no stop for years. She truly looked-for to take some time for herself for various reasons and she continues to work on bettering herself. “
