Sid Neigum Wins 2014 Mercedes-Benz Start Up Award

Congrats to Toronto based designer Sid Neigum, for being chosen as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Start Up Award.

Six finalists open their Spring/Summer 2015 Collections at World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto yesterday and judges plotting Sid Neigum had the best collection. Among the designers included, Beaufille, BLAK.I, Eliza Faulkner, Laura Siegel and VAIKEN.

The coveted award comes in the form of a $ 30,000 bursary, as well as editorial support from FASHION Magazine and a fully produced solo airstrip show in Toronto at the Fall/Winter Collections in March 2015.

“I’m so thrilled to be have been chosen as 2014 Mercedes-Benz Start Up Awarded Designer,” said Sid Neigum. “The mentorship, bursary and solo show will most beyond doubt fuel the momentum that my collections have been building over the past few years and will without a doubt allow me to further establish my business.
