Suge Knight surrenders to cops following fatal collision

Rap mogul Suge Knight allegedly ran over a man, killed him and fled the scene after a fight Thursday afternoon on a film set in Compton, Calif.

Knight was sitting behind the wheel of his car when he got into a fight with two crew members, TMZ reported. He then allegedly drove the car in reverse and hit a bystander.

Authorities told the Los Angeles Times they were reviewing surveillance footage to determine whether Knight was the driver.

The men who were fighting with Knight appeared to be the instigators.

The victim is Terry Carter, a friend of Knight. Knight also allegedly hit Cle Sloane, an actor who’s appeared in “Training Day” and “End of Watch,” who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Rap stars Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and The Game were reportedly on the set when the road rage incident occured.

Ice Cube posted a picture on his Instagram account Thursday afternoon showing him posing with Dr. Dre and The Game. The heading said the trio were “shooting a commercial in Compton.”

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed for the Day after day News that a hit-and-run incident happened Thursday, killing one person and sending another to a hospital, but said police place of protection’t identified anyone caught up yet.

Knight , the former Death Row Records CEO, has been arrested more than 10 times in his car for a variety of offenses, including public fights. He was shot six times in September further than a Los Angeles club at a have fun before the Video Composition Awards, and later told TMZ he didn’t care about finding out who did it. He was arrested in September with comedian Katt Williams for allegedly stealing a paparazzo’s camera.
