As Target unveiled a dazzling airstrip show last night at World MasterCard Fashion Week at David Pecaut Square in Toronto, audiences soon found themselves soaking up the spirit of a warm holiday have fun.

The winter collection featured warm-ride out looks with a touch of brilliant colour. A hot pink bubble jacket trimmed with a furry hood stole the show. Models marched down the airstrip in laidback looks, from a menswear-inspired checkered jacket to comfy layered knits.

A brilliant blue jacket made a splash on the “red carpet” at this interactive and shimmery show. As models practiced their dance moves on the long walk down the airstrip, the energy in the air was young and contagious. Target’s well-known furry mascot Bullseye the dog made a special appearance on the airstrip, adding even more fun and excitment to the show.

From practical pea coats to floppy black statement hats, crisp blazers, a flowing black dress and high-heeled embellished booties, the looks were diverse and free-vigorous.

As a burst of gold confetti lit up the room at the end of the show, models turned to face the audience before breaking out into a playful dance routine. With a unique mix of luxe holiday styles and layering pieces, Target’s winning performance finished the night with a much-looked-for pop of glitter and fun.
