The Best Street Style From Milan Fashion Week Spring 2015

Milan Fashion Week is now over and while we loved what the designers brought for Spring/Summer 2015 – Spanish styling from Dolce & Gabbana, floral stitching at Pucci and psychedelic prints at Cavalli – there was more than enough style on the streets to keep us satisfied. From sleek skirt combinations to wide brim hats, Milan Fashion Week road style was beyond doubt an impressive show of those dressed to impress. Here are our favourite road style looks from the week.

Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni had us coveting her red, white and black ensemble. The masculine structured jacket, metal-toe detailed shoes and wide-brimmed hat make Ferragni a perfect fit for D&G’s Spanish panache.

Gilda Ambrosio, another Italian fashion expert, perfected the casual luxe look. Her maxi dress/sweatshirt combination brings to mind the nonchalant nature of the 1990s.

When is a jumper not a jumper? When it’s a vibrant pantsuit a la Belgian fashionista Sofie Valkiers. Bright green head-to-toe could only look this chic at Milan Fashion Week.

Italian stylist-designer-fashion blogger Elen Ellis put her styling chops to work for this MFW road look. A classic black and white dress paired with black wedge booties worn with a light pink coat (worn over the shoulders, of course) shows us comfortable yet edgy chic.

The Atelier founder Patricia Manfield, is known for her neutral coloured outfits with a classic panache, so this red shirt ensemble is a standout for her. We like the leather skirt and wrap-around shoes and hope to see more of them on Manfield’s site.
