Donald Trump. I can’t wait to hear what he’s going to say next,” she told Confidenti@l, chuckling. “He’s one of the reasons I wanted back on ‘The View.’ ”

Behar tells us the two are still old New York pals and that she’s not going back with a “personal agenda,” even though she hasn’t changed her candid liberal views.

“Everyone knows I’m a Democrat. I took a pause, I didn’t get a lobotomy,” she said.

The 72-year-ancient spitfire says she’ll play nice after once questioning on air if The Donald’s hair were a wig. A furious Trump sent her a letter demanding an apology — which she particularly read on the “Tonight Show” in 2013.

Behar says she believes she is “starting to break through” because of moments like the one that happened with Bill Clinton on Wednesday night.

“I saw Bill Clinton at a cocktail have fun (lobbyist) Liz Robbins threw. I said, ‘I’m back on “The View,” ’ and he said, ‘I know.’ I said, ‘Would you like to come on with me?’ He said, ‘Yes, I will.’ ” she said.

The witty Behar said she basically had to take matters into her own hands when it came to getting Hillary to be a guest.
