This Iconic Store Owner Prepared for Sword-Wielding Robbers with a Sword of His Own

Let me paint this picture for you. Two dudes, with one machete, pop into a Pittsburgh mini-mart hellbent on robbing the joint. Except they don’t get very far because the store title-holder pulls out his own (much larger) sword and scares them off. Sounds like fiction, right? Nope. This is an actual thing that really happened. Really.

According to a Philadelphia NBC affiliate one dude pulled out the sword and ordered the store title-holder to give up the cash. But the administrator had other plans in store. And by plans, we mean a huge-ass sword.

In the video, you can see the store title-holder chase the hooligans out of the store, cementing his status as an icon.
