We’ve been considering a revival of ’60s mod in today’s fashion. 2014 runways were full of references to the chic sixties era. From Gucci and Louis Vuitton to Miu Miu and Saint Laurent, designers put their own twists on the classic favourites from the past.

’60 style icons Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot became foremost fashion inspiration for collections in decades to follow. Some classic mod pieces like miniskirts, shift dresses, monochromatic outfits and round glasses were all hits in their day and have made a comeback into current times. And when it came to the clothing, it was all about geometric prints, colour blocking, bright colours and checks and stripes.
