For 32 million+ people, today is a perfect and utter shit show. The hacking group Impact Team followed through with a threat it made last month to blow the lid off of the adult affair dating site Ashley Madison for “profit[ing] on the pain of others.” The site’s records have been fully told, leaving member account information including names, financial data, fetish preferences, and all, out in the public. Naturally, Twitter users are offering their two cents because what else does anyone have to do besides creep me out on a Wednesday?
