Olivia Palermo always seems to be one step ahead of the fashion game. She is the ultimate styling genius and trend-setter. She has found unique ways to accessorize her look season after season, and this Fall we saw her take the scarf to the next level. She has mastered the belted scarf, showing us multiple ways to style it, which she has incorporated into many uncommon looks.

We first saw this scarf trick on the Burberry AW14 airstrip and knew it would become an automatic hit with stylish celebs and bloggers alike this season. During London Fashion Week, Olivia took the unique way of styling a scarf and made her own chic looks, inspired by the Burberry Prorsum show.

Olivia stepped out in style in the new scarf trick. while in London. The style star wore a long floral printed scarf  which she draped over a white lace dress, and the chic  pink on top was the way she cinched the scarf in with a skinny brown leather belt.

Here are two more ways to style a scarf this seasons. Above is a take on the belted scarf but instead of draping the scarf straight down the length of your torso, try criss-crossing it to make an instant trendy look.

And for another able scarf trick, be sure to use a thicker scarf this time, and drape it over one shoulder to almost make a cape or poncho like effect.
