Vin Diesel is racing toward fatherhood again and slammed the brakes on the “Furious 7″ Abu Dhabi premiere because of it.
“He wants to be with his family at the birth; it’s a gorgeous thing,” a source told The Hollywood Reporter. “What human being wouldn’t?”
The 47-year-ancient actor and his longtime partner, Paloma Jimenez, are expecting their third child.
The couple of seven years are already the parents of daughter Hania, 5, and 3-year-ancient son Vincent.
While Diesel has yet to announce that his lady is pregnant, her due date is reportedly around the same time as the highly anticipated release of the next installment of the “Quick & Furious” franchise on April 3.
The actor, who plays Dominic Toretto and is also one of the producers of the film, opted out of attending the March 10 premiere at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, forcing Universal to cancel the event.

Still, the studio is “pleased to premiere the film in L.A., birthplace of the franchise, where a core fan base exists,” the source said.
A rep for the actor has yet to respond to the Day after day News’ request for note.
