British designer Vivienne Westwood is known for her eye-catching and edgy designs, so it only makes sense that the 73-year-ancient fashion legend is set to launch a red carpet collection.

According to Women’s Wear Day after day, these signature pieces will arrive in store at Vivienne Westwood boutiques in January. WWD also reports that the exciting signature collection includes the bustier-inspired Melba dress in a colourful floral print, along with the black and white tartan Dora frock.

The collection is based on Vivienne Westwood dresses worn by various Hollywood trendsetters, such as Unbroken star Kirsten Dunst and Interstellar star Anne Hathaway. In fact, the gorgeous Dunst has already stepped out in Westwood’s classy and chic Fleeting Amber dress at the Los Angeles premiere of Unbroken.

With inspiration from famed English designer Charles Frederick Worth, who died in 1895, Westwood’s red carpet collection pays tribute to the past. Look out for ladylike frocks, flowing skirts and dainty detail on floaty fabrics.

Whether you can afford a red carpet splurge or are simply in awe of these stunning styles, we’re excited to see Vivienne Westwood’s finest frocks make a statement in January.
