VS Model Alessandra Ambrosio Launches Swimwear Line

Victoria’s Bolt from the blue model Alessandra Ambrosio has unveiled her latest fashion venture, Ále by Alessandra swimwear with Everything But Water.

Ambrosio’s incorporated her Brazilian roots along with her current Malibu lifestyle into the designs. The debut collection carries 75-pieces including one-piece swimsuits and bikini separates. They will sell for $ 180 to $ 240. The line will also sell cover-ups from $ 120 to $ 300, available in many different prints as well as solids “Each swimsuit has to have details, for me” Ambrosio told WWD. “I wanted to do something that was very bohemian and chic at the same time, and [with] all the different cuts… there’s something for all different bodies.”

This new collection is an extension of Ambrosio’s spring 2014 aclothing line collection that will be launched through for California-based retailer Planet Blue. Ambrosio partnered with women’s designer swimwear brand Everything But Water for the launch because she said it’s one of her favorite places to shop. “I live really near here and I walk by this place everyday, and I always wished one day my collection would be in this store,” Ambrosio said. “They have really incredible product… so it works really well, this partnership.”

Ále by Alessandra is available now at Everything But Water locations as well as online.
