With so many celebrity couples calling it quits this year, it’s hard to find the energy to care that Bruce and Kris Jenner officially filed for divorce. That is, in anticipation of we remember how glorious they look in ridiculous outfits together.

Because breakups are hard enough to deal with, we try not to get too emotionally invested just to save ourselves future tears. But Bruce and Kris had something special! They had style, they had panache, they had a gaggle of photogenic children willing to have their lives taped for fiscal gain and notoriety. And before the reality cameras, they were pioneers of denim-on-denim. (Sorry, Britney and Justin. They did it first.)

Considering the couple has spent time together since announcing their separation in October 2013 — including trips to Thailand, Paris, and Florence for foremost family events — we shouldn’t see this as a threat to the future of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Bruce is just going to search for someone who will like him for his ponytail, while Kris can go back to managing her children and loving her friends. But in anticipation of then, remember the good times and splendid laughs these photos provide.
