What To Wear To Work This Spring 2015

With spring on its way ( yes, it will be here eventually) comes the joyful time of packing away our winter wardrobe and plotting our spring work wardrobe. Joyful you may question? Yes most beyond doubt- time to renew, express joy, rejuvenate and this means your wardrobe also! As you clean out your closet and carefully select what stays and what goes for the new year, make sure that a pop of colour freshens up your spring wardrobe. While pinks and blues are a ‘no fail pick me up’ colour staple, yellow made quite the splash on designer runways.  We are also also loving, the flared silhouette to accentuate your waist, the printed blouse and the t-shirt dress for the season.

COLLAGE- WORK

1) Vince Camuto Stretch Cotton One-Button Blazer, $ 195: With its bold azure shade, this bright blue blazer brings a instant touch of springtime colour to a neutral cold ride out outfit. Pair this blazer with dark denim and a white blouse for casual Friday, or accessorize a black A-line frock and dark tights with a cheerful hint of blue.

2) Eliza J Stripe Knit Flared Dress, $ 128: The sleek white detail on this navy blue sweater dress is perfectly in line with the upcoming spring trend of classic neutral stripes. If an entire winter of bulky wool knits has left you itching for a wardrobe exchange, try a sweater dress for a figure-flattering touch.

3) Monique Silk Shirt, $ 149: A timeless silk blouse can instantly transport you from your desk to your favourite desk at that downtown bistro. We like the peachy pink Wild Yam shade of this loose and feminine blouse.

4) Anjelica Skirt, $ 99: For ladylike fashionistas who are appetite the restore of sunny afternoons and flirty hemlines, try taking an early step toward spring with a dainty pale pink pencil skirt. The faux leather detail adds a vampy edge, while the pretty shade is a winning contrast against black wool tights.

5) Ivanka Trump Tirra Pointed Toe Pumps, $ 156: Try stepping into that vital meeting or weekend conference in perfect style, with a pair of patent leather pumps in a deep ruby red. Combine your chic shoes with a slim black pantsuit, or bring colour to that crisp white blazer.

6) Tahari by ASL Sleeveless Pleated Jacquard Dress, $ 183: While every woman should own a little black dress for a night out, she also needs a sleek flared frock for business! Try accessorizing this box-pleated sleeveless number with a contrasting creamy cardigan.

7) C by Bloomingdale’s String Cashmere Cardigan, $ 220: We’re coveting the look of a original, winter white cardigan paired with the season’s array of floral and abstract print blouses. Meanwhile, the fierce metallic studs on this cashmere knit are an edgy touch.

8) ASOS Leather Pencil Skirt, $ 116: There’s no fashion rule which states that lavish leather pieces are strictly for weekend nights. Pair this knee-length pencil skirt with a vivid blouse, for a break from the usual wool blends or cotton.

9) Nasty Gal Walk The Line Blazer, $ 97: A fierce red blazer just might quickly replace your classic dark grey or navy jacket for the office. This fiery blazer adds a striking layer to a simple white blouse.

10) Jen7 Skinny Ponte Pants, $ 241: With freezing temperatures and howling winds, it’s easy to leave that favourite skirt at the back of your closet. For a sleek casual Friday silhouette, try these fitted black Italian ponte jeans paired with a flowing bohemian blouse.
